Ex ruined my credit after divorce

I divorced my ex husband a year ago. In our divorce judgement, he won two homes that had my name on the mortgages. On our divorce decree he was ordered to remove my name off all debts such as mortgages, loans and cc's. He also was ordered to not harm my credit or my finances. He has now let a property go into foreclosure and refuses to remove my name from any of his debts. I have contacted all of the creditors explaining what is going on and I also mailed them copies of our divorce decree. They have told that I'm still responsible for the debt. What can I do to fix my credit now that the foreclosure is complete and what can I do to get my name off of his debts? I'm a SGTMAJ in Marine Corps and I can't have this kind of bad credit. Any suggestions??? HELP!

unfortunately since the debt is still in your name you are still responsible. The creditors do not care what a divorce decree says. It was your responsibility to make sure he was paying everything and if not to file contempt and order him to refi the house, and close accounts you had jointly.
