Ex wanting inheritance for unpaid child support

I am executor of my mother's will and my ex sister-in-law has filed a letter with probate for my brother's inheritance for unpaid child support. I need to know do I have to give her his money? Or does there have to be a court order? I live in Ohio.

Generally you as executor are responsible for paying the debts of the estate. I suspect the ex-wife is a creditor like any other and can just claim as such, and does not need a court order. But you should check with an estates lawyer in your jurisdiction.
