Ex Wife Remarrying - Maintenance issue

My dad was legally pronounced divorced on 10-15-2007. I just found out that his ex wife may have re-married in September or October of 2008. per their divorce decree my dad is mandated to pay her maintenance for the next two years. Would this be void if she remarries?? Thanks!

That would depend on what the divorce decree states regarding the maintenance. In most cases remarriage is a reason to terminate the maintenance; however, some orders stipulate that the agreement is not modifiable. You'll have to check the wording of the order.
