Shoplifting, Larceny, Robbery, Theft Expected punishment for grand larceny

I currently live in NY and have charges against me for Grand larceny in the third degree and altering buisness records. I am 25yrs old and have a clean record. I do have a lawyer but was just looking for other expert advice. I was wondering what these charges could possibly get knocked down to?

In NY, you will probably get a negotiated plea for some BS misdemeanor.

If not, you'll most likely get probation, perhaps without supervision.

I would listen to your attorney and stop looking for other advice. There is nothing more exasperating when you are an attorney than having your client looking for "other experts." Listen to your attorney.
