Expenses related to credit claim

I have been working on disputing a bad credit report item on my credit report. On a towing charge for a car ive never owned. During the process I have had to obtain dmv forms and notary signs to the order of about a hundred dollars. If I can prove that this charge is not legitimate could I possibly a reimbursement for expenses caused by disputing a false claim through a small claims court case?
