I moved to the DC metro area and my Florida tags expired.
I was pulled over in Maryland for speeding, given a warning for the speeding and a ticket for expired tags. I still didn't have a place for about another month, so I didn't get my tags -- wasn't sure if I was going to get a place in DC, Maryland or Virginia. In retrospect, I think I should have gotten temporary tags somewhere or renewed the Florida tags, perhaps.
Ended up getting a place in DC, I have tags now (this is months later, it was a daunting process).
Completely forgot about the Maryland ticket and don't know how to take care of it now.
Two questions:
1. Is there a warrant out for my arrest?
2. How should I go about taking care of it now? I found the ticket in my car when cleaning it out this weekend.
