My question is on expungement records and international travel/international working restrictions. When I was a 12 years old I was convicted of a D felony this was a one time offense and since then I have had my record expunged.
Now I am looking to possibly working abroad but wasn't sure how my past will affect these plans. Even though my records were "destroyed" will there be SOME record of the offense as the visa/immigration process goes along?
As far as internationally working or even traveling are their restrictions I may face in the future?
I have heard that countries that I go to and want to work/immigrate will know will know about my past in some fashion- but if my records were destroyed in the first place how would they know at all?
Thanks for your help.
