In Dec. of 2002 we had an accident involving a gun. My husband was shot several times by the same bullet. The police arrested me and charged me with murder. After being held for two days all the charges were dropped, the shooting was ruled accidental. It was an accident. My husband is still alive, and we are together. Any criminal background check shows I was arrested for murder, and no one seems to get past that, even though the next line states charges were dropped. I can not even volunteer at my children's school. What can I do? Several lawyers won't even touch the case and those that did wanted a large (several thousand $) retainer. Thanks
