Ex's Divorce Atty Now the Judge

In Ohio. My girlfriend's ex's lawyer in their divorce is now the local judge. She was the plaintiff in the divorce. She has had a DUI and a case where a cop got rough with her and shoved her to the ground and charged her with about 6 different things over a stupid little incident. He seems to be slapping a LOT of stuff against her such as community service, probation and high fines, etc. The questions is: Is this ethical or even to be permitted for this judge to now precide or pass judgment in cases such as this against her?

A: The solution would've been to have him disqualified. However, try it now. But he may not even know who she is.



He seems to be slapping a LOT of stuff against her such as community service, probation and high fines, etc.

Pretty normal stuff for a drunk.

But who is to say he remembers her or not? The question, is it ethical?
