Extortion and Blackmail

Help please....I bought my best friends house to save them foreclosure....They were surpose to buy it back within a year verbal agreement now going on three years. Not getting payment for rent and the husband is trying to blackamil me with exposure of personal info. some truth but not all...what can I do to protect myself? I am the only one titled on this property I am now forced with the issue that they are blackmailing to keep me from evicting them?

Decide what is important to you. Perhaps selling the house due to your own financial issues might be a good idea.

Do you have anything in writing that he is blackmailing you? Emails and letters? Is his "proof" verbal or pictures or electronic media of some type? Who is he going to give the information to?
