Failure to appear

My jurisdiction is: Fairfax

Hello all.
I have question...Is it possible to receive a bond if one had originally failed to appear in court?
If the question doesn't make any sense, I will try to clarify.

Depends on the crime, depends on likelihood of flight, depends on the Judge/Magistrate. . .

I imagine Bond will be set much higher than if the individul did appear in court. The Judge might make it some ridiculous amount. . .

Since it is Fairfax, I strongly recommend an attorney.

Well, we have hired an attorney and the bond hearing is set for Monday, November 3--I will keep my fingers crossed.
