Failure to control vehicle

My vehicle was pulling to the right when I was driving and a police officer was behind me. I was given a ticket for failure to control vehicle and explained to the officer I felt that the car started to pull to the right and I needed to get it to a mechanic to have it checked.I asked the officer to follow me home for safety reasons. Should I get an attorney.and shoul I plead guilty or not guilty if I have work to the vehicle done showing a problem occurred to the vehicle?

I suggest you reach out to the prosecutor tomorrow, ask your questions, see if you can get a deal.
It never hurts you to have all defects repaired prior to your court appearance.
If you go that route, make sure you provide a receipt, pictures, and/or a notarized letter from the garage that effected the repairs.
