Failure to yeild vs. Crossing Double Yellow Line

Few weeks ago, on N. Druid Hills (busy road in Atlanta) I was trying to turn left out of a shopping center during rush hour. Traffic to the left of me was stopped, traffic to the right of me was also stopped to let me turn. I began to turn when either I hit her or she hit me (but it knocked my front bumper off my car). Two witnesses said they saw her crossing double yellow lines (possibly to drive past traffic in the turning/suicide lane or just to turn) and the police officer cited her for that. He cited me for failure to yeild. I have court on the 19th and am not sure what to do. Should i plead guilty or not guilty and if i plead not guilty and tell the judge what happened, can they do anything more to me than just make me pay the fine? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
