Background:
We are the last white family - husband, wife, 4mo daughter, in this apartment complex. We live on the top floor. We made a complaint to the property management about our downstairs neighbor's music shaking our pictures off of the walls. The Owner or the property said to work it out with her directly. Our neighbor said to knock on the floor when it gets too loud. We just received a lease violation for countless acts of banging on the floor. I called the prop mgmt, and she wouldn't here myside (she entered into the picture about 5 months after the initial "work it out" deal). She was very rude to me, and told me that we have a history of "bad neighboring" with their management company. She told me she would not accept any further complaints from us, since it would appear to be "battling with neighbor"
Issue:
We received notice of non-renewal on July 6th to move out at end of lease (July 31). We only paid rent late twice (on the 4th of the month with a 3 day grace), and paid the associated late fees. No reason was given.
