false accusasion

Greetings,
I was wrongfully accused of slealing money from my brother in law's girlfriend. she accused me of stealing 300$ from them 7 months ago.. she just brought up the topic. this issue has brought in shame and grief on my behalf.. and it has put a negative dent on my moral character towards our family and friends. I am without a doubt not guilty with the accusasion. Can i sue her ?

If she's spreading untruths about you and damaging your reputation, then perhaps. You might seriously consider what damages you have suffered because of this and whether it is financially worthwhile to pursue in court. Perhaps the matter can be corrected some other way (say, by an apology and retraction).
