"I recently received a legal document at my house for a business I have no connection with. This business along with other individuals are being sued for past due condo fees on a jointly owned condo. One of the people named was the previous owner of my house but sold to me in 1995. Do I need to do anything or since I am not the business can I just ignore it?

Business named at my home address

I am about to send a letter to the law office explaining there is no business here at my home, etc. I am concerned because the papers sent are court papers and do not want this situation to get out of hand.

I'd reach out to the attorney by telephone and inform him or her that you aren't connected to the previous owner.
Whatever she did or is accused of doing, you have no knowledge of that.
After that conversation you should know how to further proceed.

If you aren't named in the document, I don't see where you have anything to worry about. However, I would let the law firm know that you have no connection to the previous owner named (that you just bought the home from that person).
