Alcohol & Drugs: MIP, MIC, Intoxication False ID

I have a question about a citation I was given for possessing a false ID. I was in Ocean City, MD - Worcester County. There were a group of us and some had open containers while we were outside the house we were staying at. A cop came and of course checked IDs. In my frantic state I gave him a fake ID that someone had given me to use for the night. Then realizing that he was going to find out it wasnt me, I told him that it was not me and that I was underage. He tried to explain to me what could happen if I did certain things ( community service, court, pay the fine, etc.) But he wasnt very specific and he didnt have the patience to deal with my questions at the time. I know that I will receive my court date and such in the mail, but my biggest concern is what could possibly happen. I am prepared for community service and paying a fine, but I am not sure whether they will either send me to jail or have my license taken away ( because I did give them a fake VA license). Please try to give me some direction. I am completely in the dark and not sure what to expect or do. Thank you.

It's a Misdemeanor
Court may order up to $100 or jail or both
Court may order up to 93 days jail
Maybe some community services
0 points on your driver license
90 day suspension on your driver license evnthough you weren't driving at that time
