I would appreciate any help possible.

I live in los angeles and have a revoked license, Got pulled over and gave my brothers name. Then my wallet was found and I got arrested for the first time for False Impersonation. (50,000 bail). I was only told that I was charged with that felony at the time of my arrest and when I bailed out. However my car was towed with a 30-day hold and the tow yard said it was cause I was driving with a suspended license. I never recieved any paperwork claiming I was charged with this violation.

So does this mean they didnt book me for driving with a suspended license. Or should I expect a letter from the DMV or the court anytime soon. I am suppose to get my license back this december(just 2 more months).
Should I prolong the court date till I get my license and then show the judge?

I am a pharmacist and have no criminal backround. A felony might cost me my license to practice pharmacy in california. Do I have a good chance of reducing the charge to a misdemeanor and what do you guys think will happen with the suspended license situation?

Thank you for reading.:)

Yes, they can drop it to a misdemeanor and they probably will if you have no priors. The suspended license issue will result in a further suspension, fines, and the loss of the car for the 30 days. While technically a misdemeanor, you will not likely spend time in jail for that offense if they even bother to charge you with it. Since they have a far more serious offense, they may just go with it.

THANK YOU. I hope to god the felony will be reduced and possibly recieve my license at the initial due date of december so I can continue to drive to work at least. Not having a license is almost as bad as having a felony.
