False Pretenses

I am employed by a company that appeared as and operated as a legitimate company. Now they are under investigation. If the findings come back that it was a scam and I had no knowledge do I have any recourse.

It is unclear what harm you claim to have suffered and what laws they may have broken. A company not being properly registered on its own provides you no recourse.

What "damages" have you suffered that you want a recourse for? If you were paid correctly etc., there is no recourse for you.
