Me and two of my friends were going to a shoe store,on the way we saw an adult store movie's,book's and novelties.we had to stop!!we all go in,the younger of the two friends didnt have his ID so he was turned away,me and the other friend went on shopping we picked out some movies, i walk to the back and he's eyeballing a leather choker thing worth 90.00$!!! i told him not to even think about takeing it.he laughed and said yeah that would be stupid.i gave him the money for my movie and went to join my friend in the car and smoke a cigarette.
my friend walked out of the store with a big smile on his face,i knew he took the choker needless to say.i called him stupid and drove to the shoe store.we make it and are shopping for shoes and an officer comes up to us and ask how we are doing we all say fine,with a laugh.then my young friend said "there looking in your car" fear hit me so i went outside.
the officer asked me where we had been i told him and he started reading me my rights,so i told him to hold on a minute let me get my friends.long story short we all get patted down and searched and they asked "who took the item".i said i have no idea,my young friend said i didnt even go in,and the shoplifter said i have a receipt.so after some useless prying we all end up in hand cuffs and being stupid i didnt say a word and went on without saying anything about the shoplifter.we all got the same charge and the shoplifter haveing no honor said nothing to defend me or my younger friend.
so now im mad and have to go to court on the 20th of december
and the cops said there was a video of the item being taken.so i need to know what to do to get the charges dismissed and how to get the videos to take to court so i wont have a bogus shoplifting charge on my record. i have never done anything in my life and never plan too.im a hard worker and appreciate spending my money on the things that i want and\or need. so please if you can help i would really appreciate it.
