Apparently someone in my job has contacted the DOL. My boss has it in his mind that it was me. We spoke in his office and I clearly explained to him that he was wrong in accusing me. That didn't help, instead I was told to work only one night this week through a text message.

The text messages sent

1- "Work tonight then start again next Monday. And keep quiet from now on."

2- " We need team people that will help us build this, not go around saying we're taking advantage of the workers."

The advice given to me by my family was to keep records and be a model employee since it appears they are retaliating and trying to make me uncomfortable at work. Is there anything else I should do?

I'm changing the post I just submitted since I reread your post and saw something I hadn't seen the first time (sorry, long day).

It couldn't hurt to call the DOL and ask them whether or not they would consider this illegal retaliation. Even though you are not the one who made the report, doing so is a protected action.
