I am working part time delivering pizzas. It is a good student job and we have a really good crew. The problem was a middle aged female employee who had her hours cut back due to poor quality of work. She has alleged that our staff's joking around constituted an environment of sexual harassment. She went on and made up a 100% fabrication about me, stating that I had exposed my penis and threatened to pee on everything. I was shocked to hear about this. Of course I never exposed myself, nor would I. I had only spoken with that lady 2 or 3 times. I never made small talk with her, or hit on her. She is physically repulsive. I certainly never exposed my penis in her presence, or the presence of anyone else. I admit that I participated in joking around with my coworkers, but it was never directed at anyone in particular. 100% of it was typical guy stuff directed towards other male employees. Representatives of my company have spoken to my supervisor who steadfastly defended me. I received a letter of notification about this case. I was told I will be contacted by my company's legal branch and questioned about this. Should I consult with a lawyer? Since the allegation of me exposing myself is a complete fabrication, should I sue her for slander/defamation of character? If I do that is the burden of proof on her or me?

Until your employer takes action you have nothng to sue for. Even if you do and "if" you prevail in a suit if she has no money dont expect to gain anything
