Family giving away my stuff

Could my family give away my things when I wasn't there without coming to me first? So I was staying at a cousins house for like a month and we never discussed a payment plan or anything I would help out where I could, I decided to move back to my moms house and I had left my bed and drawers there because they had way more than enough rooms and they never told me anything about it. I even went over twice to pick up my flat screen and clothes. She had texted me asking me to help her pay the cable after I had moved which was $120, now that I go to pick up my stuff she tells me that she sold it to her father (my uncle) and that if I want it back I have to give him $800. What can I do?? Please help
Btw it's in beacon NY idk if the laws are different there

Are you an adult?
If so, if you think mom owes you money you can sue her. Otherwise, come to an agreement with your uncle and buy your items back.
If you are a juvenile then you have no say in the matter. Your stuff is actually mom's stuff and she can do what she wants with it.
