My brother is newly married and is has been sent off to Iraq. His ex-wife has custody of the kids and has not kept them stable at one home address for more than one year. Now the ex-wife has been arrested and he has no idea. What rights does my new sister-in-law have to intervene on behalf of the kids?? How can he get custody of his kids????? He pays almost $1000 in child support every month for 4 teenagers and they have been living as if they are homeless. Their mother wears the girls new clothes when the my brother buys them something new and they seem to always need the essentials when you see them, bras, underwear, clothes, hygiene products, ect. What can be done. They don't have to live this way.
HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dad needs to see an attorney ASAP. With him being in Iraq it will be hard for him to get custody. He might have to wait until he gets back to the states. If the kids are teens it seems that they are not in any real danger so just because mom got arrested does not mean she loses the kids.
