Hello, My grandfather opened an Italian resturant. He passed away about 5 years ago. I am now 24. There was no Will on his death and the resturant was divided into My Uncle, My Mother, And my Aunt. ( I guess they hired a attorney and had an agreement.)

However, could i be entitled to partial ownership of this resturant? This was just decided by assumptions and who knows, maybe the Will could of given the Resutrant to me. What about my brothers and sisters? This seems unfair that we had absolutly no say in the matter.

Please let me know .

You are not entitled to anything regarding this restaurant. Your grandfather's children or "next of kin" are beneficiaries.

Your grandfather died intestate.
His heirs are his legal next of kin.
Apparently those were your mom, your aunt, and your uncle (his children, I presume).
You were a relative, but did not stand to inherit, unless your mother had pre-deceased her father.
Then you and your siblings would have split her 1/3 share between each of you!
