Father moving, seeking out-of-state visitation

I am the custodial parent of a 3 year old child. His father has joint legal custody. His father just informed me he is moving 600 plus miles away and is filing to amend his current visitation schedule. Does he have to receive my approval and/or court approval before doing so?

Nope - the NCP doesn't need your consent or consent from the court.

He's apparently doing the sensible thing by filing to modify the visitation schedule.
