Faulty Brake Repair

My wife took our minivan to Just Brakes for brake service last Thursday. After giving her a quote of $800 (and then changing it to $200 upon my arrival), they completed the brake service. On Friday, July 4, as we were driving through an intersection the vehicle stopped suddenly in the middle of the road. We had it towed back to our house, and a mechanic came to take a look. The Just Brakes technician had left a clamp on our brake line, which cut off the fluid, which caused the brakes to lock up. There were no injuries, fortunately. I had my wife and twin toddlers in the car with me, and if we had made it to the Interstate in downtown Atlanta there may have been catastrophic consequences. Do I have a case for their negligence, especially when they claim to do a final inspection before returning the car?

With there being no damages proably not. Your best option would be have the faulty repair job fixed for free by those who did it wrong.

You might also contact the corporate office of the repair place as well. Yu should certainly seek refund of towing charges if they came out of your pocket as well
