My girlfriend and i just purchased a vehicle. Less than 45 days into our ownership, it needs a 1-2000$ repair. We opted out of the warranty. Plus my girlfriend is pregnant with twins and it was the power steering that went out on the car, which is safety related. Do i have any legal rights to have them fix the problem? Have not even had the vehilcle 60 days.

Of course you have the legal right to repair YOUR car.
That legal right doesn't extend to the seller who cleverly ripped you off.

Of course it is too late now but you should have taken the warranty. The seller doesn't have to pay for the repairs - you bought it as is.
