Favoritism

Well my boss for whatever reason like's to say little pointless things to me, yet when one of his "buddies" lacks to do something much worse he never says a word. It is very obvious and everyone knows it. Most people just listen to him even though he is doing something wrong but I just can't stand it and need something done. I was going to call corporate and complain but I really want to use technical things to show them how wrong it is. Can anyone tell me what I can say to prove my point more thoroughly?

This jerk will be found out by his superiors, but if you want to keep this job, you should mind your business.
