I had the fbi come to my home and look through my home(this was one man) because back in July there was a package of health food come to my home in another name, I did not send it back just kept it and gave most of it away. Was 450 dollars in products did not have a thought of where it came from or anything. Well turns out it was a stolen cc used from the other side of the country and the stuff was sent to my house in a different name for what reason I dont know. I admitted keeping the stuff but did not use any cc . what can happen

You knew it did not belong to you but kept it nayways. Do not talk to FBI or Police without an Attorney present you could be in trouble

What did the FBI take?

Your address may have been given to the company by the criminals, and they'd track the package and watch your house for it to be delivered.

You committed a criminal offense. You are in big trouble.

The law will treat you just as if you had been the one that fraudulently used the credit card.
If you have a clean record, I would think the most realistic outcome is that you pay the value of the goods you kept, serve probably 6-12 months probation, and get away with a misdemeanor offense (though this is a felony).

There is a law that states if something is sent to you without you ordering it you own it. Nothing will happen unless they can show that YOU ordered it with that credit card. You are fine as long as you did nothing.

I have to disagree there.
The package was addressed to someone else.
The first mistake was opening the package.
The second mistake was keeping and giving away the property.
He knew the property did not belong to him and did not take reasonable measures to find the person it belonged to or return it to the store... not even a phone call to Wal-Mart. Receiving stolen property is as much a crime as making the fraudulent order.
Since he already admitted to keeping the items he will be on the hook.
Had he kept quiet about it then they might not have had anything to go on.

I missed the line where it was addressed to someone else. Ok, you are right, you had no right to open or keep the things. Still, I would not worry a great deal. If you were really in trouble they would have arrested you on the spot.
