I am in AZ working at an air force base. I manage a store, and was put on administrative leave due to an internal investigation from some other employees stealing, and the Loss Prevention team decided to review all the same store employee's training and normal practices. The administrative leave was with pay, and the HR has not paid me for two paychecks now. I am fed up with waiting for my checks due to my need for income. I have been at the company for over 6 years and have hundreds of pto hours accrued. There is a lot more to the story since the people that were fired made claims about others that were misleading, or inaccurate to get back at the company and former employees. What legal process do I have to get my paycheck, and other hours owed if I am legally employed until the investigation is over. I have contacted the boss, HR, and they won't answer.

If people stop talking to you in the private sector, that's one thing.
In the federal government sector, that's even worse.
I suspect much more that a paycheck is involved.
There might be criminal charges brewing before a federal grand jury.
If you are approached, you'd be wise to immediately INVOKE.
You can report your concerns to the IG that manages your area of employment.
You can speak to a lawyer.
You can also contact your congressperson and your two senators.
You are also free to contact the Secretary of the Air Force and Secretary of Defense.
Other than that, its a waiting game.
I suspect the AF OSI has gotten involved.
Those investigators are all business, no nonsense, and very thorough.
You really need a lawyer.

Investigation stuff aside- not touching that- your pay depends on whether or not you are actually working or if you re still just being covered by paid leave? If working, you must be paid and can file a claim for unpaid wages with the DOL. If you are off work, you legally aren't due anything. If your employer chooses to pay anything voluntarily, they may wait until the investigation is over.
