my cousin was threatend by an off duty cop at a local night club, and he felt the cop was going to hit him first, but instead my cousin punched him once cuasing the man's mouth to bleed.
is self defence a reasonable arguement?(by the way he had no idea the guy was a cop)
(and both were drinking)
if it was only one punch then why would it be a felonious assault?especially if he was already ticketed for disorderly conduct fighting and plead no-contest?
