Hello All, I have been hearing a lot of talk about giving the 2nd amendment back to felons with stipulations? I believe it may be for federal charges how ever I'm not even sure if it is true. Does anyone have any info on this matter thanks.

Is this your gun rights? You don't know if your charges were state level or federal? That's kind of odd

Re-read the post. The OP is not sure if what he's been hearing about is at the federal or state level.

And that is (probably) correct. My answer was only applicable now. It is possible that the Trump administration will ease the process of rehabilitation (for lack of a better term). The BATF has always had this ability, they were just prohibited from spending money to do so. So it's a coin flip

I agree that "people on line" can be incorrect.

Sources that are trustworthy are include the government (federal, state) and accredited law schools but can difficult for laymen to decode.

While I have not researched this subject, I have noticed media outlets misrepresenting other legal issues with dismaying frequency.

True. Politicians in particular seem to be truth challenged. Trump's administration is exhibit "A" for that. That's one of the reasons a truly free press is so important. Reporters who dig to find the truth and expose it to the light of day do the country a great service.

However, the "press" was very reluctant to invoke their constitutionally sanctioned duties during the term of a very recent sitting president.

Jake Tapper's recent book, made an after the term expired effort of the aforementioned president to report some elements of truth, versus shenanigans.

Ahhh, things are rarely what other people present, unless of course, personal greed opens their eyes!

Mother enjoyed Charlie Chan movies.

I recall with great enjoyment, watching two or three Charlie Chan mysteries with mother, most weekends from junior high through high school.

In fact, I'll watch an old Charlie Chan movie or two these lazy, retired days of my life.

Sure, like all the legacy media that gaslighted the American people for four years about Biden's health. That was real journalism that did the country anything but a great service. Anyone that goes where the media takes them is a soft-minded fool.
