If my ex boyfriend has 2 misdemeanors and is now being charged with a Felony. (Spousal Abuse, Domestic Violence, Assault&Battery). What are the chances of his bail dropping? And what would happen if he pleads guilty or not guilty? I have small bruises from my neck down, but it wasn't anything serious.

He's scared to death being locked up, apparently his inmates keep beating him up and he doesn't wanna get sent to the Twin Towers after his first court appearance on Tuesday, so I think he's gonna plead guilty. I just wanna know what his options are.

I assume he has a lawyer (he needs one). He should be asking his lawyer all of his questions.

From what you describe it seems he is facing some serious charges. If he assaulted you and left bruises then it is serious. It probably is not the first time either, which makes it more serious.
He will have opportunity to obtain a lawyer when they take him in to court. His lawyer will advise him off the options available to him.

Yes, if he pleads guilty, he'll find himself headed off to one of California's fine penal establishments for a few years.
