Hi, My boyfriend of 5 years was recently incarcerated for something he didnt do. His younger brother said he was with him the night he decided to go and steal high end merchandise out of vehicles at an auto shop (dvd and cd players, sound systems, rims and performance parts) I know my boyfriend wasnt involved because he was with me the entire time the crime was commited. He was stuck with a total of 18 charges (it is an average of 3 charges per car including felony larceny, breaking and entering, and destruction of property) and a $70,000 bail. This breaks my heart because he is at risk of losing his carrer as a union electrician if he misses so many days of school. We are both young and working entry level jobs with entry level pay and i simply dont have the $7,000 to get him out of jail. Is there something I can do as his alibi to get him out of jail until his court dates before he loses his livelyhood? We have every intention of taking care of this as responsibly and quickly as possible. I would appreciate any advice you all have I am losing sleep thinking about this hard working person sitting in the last place he needs to be. Thank You in advance.
