Let's say an individual is hired at a large global or nationwide corporation and admitted to his/her felony charges on the job application. Seven (7) weeks after holding a job, it is raised to this employees attention that he/she has been asked to leave the job for further review of this felony. After the week of review, the individual is fired and paid for that week unworked. Is this lawful in the state of PA?

PA is an "at will" state. No reason is necessary for the employer to terminate the employee. As long as the termination does not involve discrimination, it is legal. Termination due to circumstances surrounding a felony is not an area protected by discrimination laws.
