FICO Score question

Here's the deal...

I just turned 20 years old. I had a credit card for roughly 5 months, and no other credit. I have no FICO Score, since I haven't had credit for at least 6 months yet.

This is my question: Does not having a FICO Score indicate a high level of credit risk? It would seem that not having a FICO Score would simply mean that variable couldn't be used in a threat/risk based assessment, and that other methods (such as a basic consumer credit report, without the FICO Score) would be used.

A company pulled my credit report and terminated my account based on the findings in that report. I pulled the same report, and it states that my credit account is 'payed as agrees', and there are no negative strikes against me, such as bankruptcy, honestly, I couldn't find anything that would make me appear as a high risk, except for the missing FICO Score.

The odd thing is, the company allowed me to sign up for the service, upgrade to a Business Account, gain access to the Debit Card program, and then terminated my account nearly one year later - Even though my credit hadn't changed. I just find that odd...
