Does the prosecution have to disclose, to the accused, any evidence they have prior to the trial?

i pulled into a restraunt parking lot got out of my vehicle was walking into restraunt when i heard someone shout move your vehicle down here i looked it was a police officer. so i moved my vehicle where he directed me too and then got out of my vehicle and the officer cited me for not haveing my grandson in a car seat the police car was parked on the north side of the parking lot i was on south end when he ordered me to move .the restraunt was very busy cars pulling in and out he told me to walk to his police car i did then he asked where i was coming from and going and told me the cars seat laws keep in mind parking lot was busy and he had me walking through it standing in it and telling me about safety was it safe when he ordered me to move my vehicle with my granson still in it still not in a car seat was it safe for him to have me walking through a busy parking lot can the officer do that i pleaded not guilty to case.
