Now I've heard, but I'm not entirely positive, that it may be possible to file for divorce in a different state, than where I currently live.

I lived in Utah my entire life, and would like to file there. But we (the current spouse and I) moved out to texas. We've been living here for just barely if not under 2 months.

Now I know Texas requires 6 months residency. Basically I'm trying to find a way around this. Is it possible to file in Utah?

Probably not. The other party can always dispute jurisdiction and ask that TX take over due to neither party is currently living in Utah.
