I was hired about a month ago but started 2 1/2 weeks ago. About 4 days into my job I was asked just about everday to go to the food court and get my boss sodas, coffee and food. I never denied, always did what she asked. The food court is a ways from our store and I was always sent to the furthest places possible. She never once informed me of any wrongdoing or any discontent with me whatsoever. I only received an email at 10pm stating that I simply took too long to get her things and therefore was fired. Is this legal? Wrongful termination? Can I get unemployment benefits?

Wrongful termination means you were fired for a reason tha tis ulawful or a violation of an exisitng cba or employment contract. None appear to be case here. Any unemployed person may apply for UI benefits its up to the state to decide if the applicant meets criteria. So yes file if denied appeal

I know it wasn't against the law, but this is just so horribly wrong. Anyone can see this was just wrong. I did personal things for her that were not in my job description nor did I technically have to do these things. Is there anything at all I can do about this?

I never said it wasnt worng just not unlawful and therefore not a wrongful termination. What can you do? Simple file for UI benefits and look for new work

okay another question. When applying for jobs now and asked why I left the last place, what am I supposed to say? I dont want to say I was fired because it was totally wrong, but obviously I cant lie. Is there any way to put this nicely to where people wont deny me work because of this?

Discharged-can provide explanation at interview. Try that. You can bet that IF you put quit or laid off and the prospective employer contact this company for employment verification or a reference, they will say fired anyway. If they are honest in "why", most prospective employers will think it's a crock, anyway.
