Hi. I am a federal employee who works at a VA hospital who was just fired for being accused of among other falsehoods calling a coworker's boyfriend who is also a coworker a racial epithet, questioned by the FBI about sending an anonymous threatening letter to the director of the hospital about either getting a raise or else poisoning patients, breaking my supervisors car window(broad daylight no less where cameras are EVERYWHERE),and looking at patient records improperly. All this stems from going to my union which is very weak since it is a federal job about improper labor practices against the chief of my department. Three of us went to the union over this and now one was forced to resign so as he would not lose his license, one was suspended and I was just fired. There are six supervisors involved in this mess. One of my supervisors wife is the chief of labor relations. In the past any employee who questiuoned there tactics were removed. We have all contacted our congressman and other govt official but still as of today I am unemployed. oNe lawyer I spoke with said I may have a slander case against coworker and supervisors for thes accusations without any proof whatsoever. What next
