I currently reside in the state of South Carolina. My current employer fired me because I put my two weeks notice in today. It was shy of about 2 days of being a full 2 weeks because of the date that I start my new place of employement. Do I have a law suit

Of course you don't have a law suit. And you were not fired. Your resignation was accepted immediately.

Call your new employer and ask if you can start earlier. Or file for unemployment. Although there is a one week waiting period in your state, you may qualify for benefits for the second week. Would be better than nothing.

You may have a case if the employer requires two weeks notice, and you give a notice in good faith, the employer (in some cases) may not be able to fire you that would be acting in bad faith. I would not give up on it, file a small claims action for two weeks pay let a judge figure it out if the employer acted in bad faith.
