Alcohol & Drugs: MIP, MIC, Intoxication First Ticket for Minor Consumption

I'm a 17 year old male from St. Paul, MN. This past Friday I attended a party over at a friends house. Within the first half hour, the cops came and directed everyone to take out their I.D.'s and line up. I knew I was going to get a minor so I didn't even bother trying to lie. The cop asked me if I had been drinking, I said yes. She asked how many and I told her 4 or 5, which was the truth. Anyway, she sent me over to the officer with the breathalyzer. He had me blow in it a few times but it wasn't working, so they wrote me up anyways.

What I want to know is what my punishment will likely be. I've heard different things. Some say it will just be a fine, others say I might have to go to court. Since it is my first offence and I'm 17, is it likely a fine I will have to pay? And if so, how much?

well from what I Know, youll have to go to a alcohol awareness class, and since your under 18 you might even have to go with your parents. Your also gonna have to do community service(8 hours I think) and pay a slight fine, about 100$.
