In May i got fired from my place of work cause i had been doing false returns and pocketing the money. the total had come to $402 over a period of 9 months. I live in NC. And i got charged with misdemeanor larceny. this is the FIRST time i have ever been in trouble for anything aside from speeding tickets! I signed into a promissory agreement that stated i was to pay $50 a month back to the company until i reached my total. I have been cooperative and paying back that money. My court date is Monday morning, and according to what all i have read and heard, i am possibly looking at jail time.
Ive also heard that there could be a fine, some community service, and possibly probation. Im honestly ok with everything other than jail. I admit, i did it. It was stupid and will NEVER as long as i live happen again! What is going to happen to me?!
