hi I'm a 58 year old male who is disabled and last year I was going through a bad time I had some over drafts in the bank and then I get a letter from the pharmacy who was sending my mothers med.to the home where she now lives saying I need to start paying on the $1000.00 bill or they would stop her meds. This was the first I had heard of it my mom had just had open heart surg. and she was 79 at the time I was very depressed did not no what to do so I was helping some friends and they new of my troubles and kelp saying they could get me some money by selling my pain meds i gave in I didn't no what to do I'm in constant pain now I gave up the pain meds.and facing jail time I've never been in trouble be for I don't understand the laws and my lawyer is no help.....!!HELP ME PLEASE!!

I suggest you make no further statements or admissions. Time and patience are your allies. The worst you'll get is probation, or a few months in jail, unless there is more to the story. I suggest you speak only to your lawyer. You're not going to walk away unscathed, you're presumed to know some things at age 60!!!!

You knew how to sell drugs. Yiu also knew it was a crime. I suggest you shut up,stop whining, and get ready to take your legal medicine. You might want to eventually beg for mercy and rehab, if they convict you. Otherwise, with time and patience (and luck), you might get a second chance and just a slap on the wrist. If you get antsy, this will get worse. Pain is nothing. I live with it daily, and don't take any of the many drugs I possess (legally) or my physician would give me.

Sometimes you just need to suck it up and say no.
