FMLA violation?

Hello,

I returned back to work few weeks ago after a FMLA leave I took to bond with my newborn.
I officially held a Manager position before the leave and I just found out that my title was changed to "regular" employee title – I wasn't notified about it – I was able to find it accidentally in the employer's employee information website which I barely check.

I was wondering if this is legal as I thought the FMLA protect the employee from these kind of things? There is also a financial loss aspect to it as I might lose the ability to participate in the mangers bonus program? – I didn't confront with my supervisor about what I found out just yet and I was wandering if I have a case.

Thank you!

You have to be returned to the same or similar position with the same pay and benefits as if you never left. You need to discuss this with your HR dept and if they don't reslove it, file a complaint with U.S. DOL.

My compensation consist of salary and bonus.
The salary didn't change, I don't know about my bonus as I will need to wait till I will get it (or not) - it happens once a year.

The position changed from management position to a non-management position which obviously means change of official responsibilities - even though my day-to-day activities didn't change drastically, it would put me in a bad position if I would apply for different management position in the future as my last position wasn't a management position...

Thank you for the help!
