My employer just informed us that they are starting a mandatory exercise program. They said it was to reduce workman comp claims and healh insurance claims. I ask what would happen if i refused to participate. They said i would be fired because this is a company work rule. I am not enrolled in their free healthcare plan. what legal options do i have.

Unless you have a medical reason, and a doctor that will back you up, why you cannot participate, your legal options are to obey the policy or find other work. There is nothing in the law that prohibits an employer from implementing a mandatory exercise policy.
