My former employer gave my previous employer information that caused me to be terminated. Which was the reasons I was terminated and all the details. I wanted to know if this is legal and what recourse would I have?

If the information provided is true, the employer believes it to be true, or it represents his honest opinion, yes it is legal and no, you have no recourse. Contrary to popular belief, nothing in the law prohibits employers from exchanging information about employees as long as it is true.
