Here's the story:

Roommate A gave drugs to roommates B and C. He gave them ritalin patches. Possibly Roommate A said they were diet patches. Roomates B and C used the patches. The wrappers were left in the trash can.

A couple weeks later Roommate A sees that his $20 jewerly is missing, wrongfully thinking Roommate B stole it. Roommate A tells the dorm leader who calls the police. Roommate A says that B and C stole his jewerly and his drugs. Roommates B and C are arrested for "Unlawful Use of a Controlled Substance" and "Theft".

The next morning they leave jail on PR bond, unable to go to campus for classes or their dorm rooms.

The whole thing makes me very angry at Roommate A who lied and framed B and C     .

WHAT CAN WE DO FOR ROOMMATES B and C? Money is an issue because niether Roommates B nor C have much money because they are college students. Their families also do not have much money.

On one other note:
Roommate A is 4 years older than his 15 year old girlfriend who he's had phone sex in front of Roommate B (who was disgusted). Is this statutory rape or indecent exposure of some kind?

All of this takes place in Colorado.

What exactly are your questions?

A bunch of dopers had a falling out and everyone is accusing everyone else.

Is that a fair statement of what is happening?

Roommate A distributed to them the ritalin patches, but he lyed to the police saying that they stole them and his jewerly. What can we do so that he is punished for lying to the police?

Also, as I have just found out....the police went to question B and C saying that they were definately NOT going to get arrested, but they did arrest them. They also never read them their rights. This is illegal, right? How can we sue the police for this?
