Unfortunately I had the poor judgment to buy merchandise and process fraudulent returns back to my debit card, and was recently fired. No police were involved and LP had me sign a statement stating details of what I did and that I am willing to pay back the funds, and then I was "released from the company". I have yet to be contacted, and I'm worried that I may not be able to get another job, since I have worked with the company for 2 years, at 2 different store locations. Do I leave them off my applications when I apply at other places. Besides my lapse in judgment about a month ago, I have always been an ideal employee and have received many different awards for going above and beyond

Your question involves labor law issues and problem not too much retail theft.

Everything in life is a risk. In this instance, nobody might know if you leave them off of your employment history. Just be ready to explain if there is a noticeable gap in employment.
